CUSTOM-MADE - ARQUETTE JBL 2395 LENSES $399 (pair)

These are the largest in the family of JBL LENSES sold, which debuted in 1971 and are no longer manufactured which makes them collector's items. Today, just a single original 2395 JBL Lens is selling for $2000. Original JBL lenses were made from a variety of materials, including plastic, ceramic, and cast aluminum. The collector Arquette JBL 2395 Lens is custom-made for each of our clients. Each lens is made from ¼ inch-thick birch wood and we feel the natural wood mellows the sound that harsh horns tend to make when moving through metal or plastic. We stock four stain colors to choose from. Each lens slat is finished in high-gloss epoxy.

We photographed each slat in each set of lenses so the provenance from our shop to our buyer is tracked. Therefore, in the future, if you wish to resell your custom lenses we can authenticate and verify they are indeed Arquette lenses. Since every set is handmade, no two sets are identical and we add a custom branding we burn into the back of each slat.

The typical lead time from order to shipping is about 4 to 7 days because when we receive the order, we cut, stain, and triple epoxy the main (most visual) slat which takes 1 day per epoxy coat to cure.
